Lydia Viola Glaze

Anderson...Lydia Viola Everett Glaze, 83, former Anderson resident, died Thursday at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown, after an extended illness.She was born December 10, 1920, the daughter of Tetie and Mary O'bryant Everett.She was a 1939 graduate of Daleville High School and a member of the Home Ec. Club of Daleville and formally attended the Daleville United Methodist Church.Survivors include 5 children: David (Carolyn) Glaze of Anderson, Roy (Cindy) Glaze of Florida, Dennis Glaze of Middletown, Patti (Earl) Yodice of Tampa, FL and Steven (Gail) Glaze of Middletown, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Harold Everett of Greencastle and Earl Everett of San Diego, 3 sisters: Helen Bullock of Muncie, Jenny Overby of Denver, CO, and Arlene Everett of New Castle, sisters in laws: Betty Everett of Daleville and Dolly Collins of Noblesville, several nieces and nephews.Special gratitude to the staff and friends at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and kindness.She was preceded in death by her husband: George N. Glaze in 1992 and 1 brother: Arnold Everett.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Karen Ottjes officiating.Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11-2.Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.Memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown, EMS or the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
