Lou Ann Flynn

Middletown...Lou Ann (McCoy) Flynn, 47, resident of Knightstown, passed away Monday morning at the home of her parents.She was born in Henry County, August 18, 1962, the daughter of Donald Ray and Mary Lou Baughn McCoy.She was a 1980 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a 1981 graduate of Professional Careers Institute.She worked as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for Dr. Brian Nunley DDS in Indianapolis.She was a member of the Cadiz Christian Church and the American Legion auxiliary.She had coached baseball, softball and soccer for several years.She is survived by her son: Phillip Berkowitz (Sunny) of Middletown, her parents: Donald and Mary Lou McCoy of Middletown, brother: David L. McCoy (Debbie) of Knightstown, Nieces: Dana Gipson (Ryan), Devon McCoy, and Macee Gipson of Indianapolis and 1 nephew: Jackson Gipson of Indianapolis.She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mr and Mrs Joseph Baughn and Mr and Mrs James McCoy.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemtery in Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 PM on Wednesday.Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Association through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
