Loretta M. Alspaugh

New Castle... Loretta Marcel (Simmons) Alspaugh age 85, resident of New Castle, Indiana passed away Sunday November 15, 2020 at Hickory Creek at New Castle .  She was born in New Castle, Indiana, June 24th 1935, the daughter of Orville and Reva Simmons.  She retired from Chrysler in Kokomo, Indiana.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, spoiling all the children in her life and her pets.  She loved keeping up on her daily soap operas, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and NCIS.  She enjoyed watching NASCAR (Jimmy Johnson) and shopping.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Alspaugh, her parents, Orville and Reva Simmons, a daughter, Cheryl Anne Wattenbarger and a grand daughter,  Lori Anne Haynes.



She is survived by her son, Doug Haynes (Jill) of Shirley, a brother,  Richard "Dick" Simmons of New Castle, a sister,  Deborah "Debbie" Higginbotham (Micheal) of Pendleton,  two grandsons,  David Wattenbarger of Anderson and Jared Haynes of Anderson, three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.



The family wishes to thank the staff of Hickory Creek for their great care.



Graveside memorial service and celebration of life to be announced this Spring due to current gathering restrictions.
