Daleville...Lorena Naomi Costerison, 89, resident of Daleville, passed away Friday evening at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.She was born in Daleville, March 11, 1925, the daughter of Aleck and Edessie Carpenter Costerison.She graduated from Daleville High School in 1944 and retired from AT & T where she had been a telephone operator for over 30 years.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was Worthy Matron in 1976-77.She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Daleville and the Telephone Pioneers.Survivors are a sister: Lillian F. Wilson of Daleville, sister-in-law: Audrey Costerison of Alexandria and nephew Rick (Carla) Morrical of Muncie, several other nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and brothers in law: Ruth Westerman (Carl) and Josephine Morrical (Raymond) and 4 brothers and 2 sisters in laws: Marion Costerison (Virginia Bolin), Robert Costerison (Charlotte), Warren and Walter Costerison, and another brother in law: Gayle Wilson.A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday at Daleville United Methodist Church with Pastor Glenn Perkins officiating.
