Lonny Lewis Hook

September 30, 1951 — May 16, 2022

Lonny "Lonzo" Hook passed away at his home on May 16th 2022 at the age of 70 years old. He was born September 30th 1952 in Daleville Indiana. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.

Lonny will be lovingly remembered by his long-time love of 30 plus years Nancy O'Bryant; mom, Zelma Trueblood; daughters Lori Hook and Lonna (Paul) Hook; step son, Jacob O'Bryant; sisters, Kay Valentine, Nancy (Mike) Tipton; step sister, Virginia Thompson; step brothers, Randy (Debbie) Nichols (Debbie) and Bruce (Kathy) Nichols; grandkids, Aaron Hook, Robert Douglas, Jessica Hunt, Olivia and Isabelle O'Bryant.

He was preceded in death by his dad Orie "Otis" Hook and his daughter Angie Dawn Hook.

Lonny was a laid-back guy with a great sense of humor who enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed his time with his beloved dogs and loved them deeply. Lonny absolutely loved watching wrestling. He loved his Chicago Cubs and really enjoyed a ice cold Pepsi anytime. He most definitely loved music and rocking out. He enjoyed many concerts in his younger years and would ride front seat on any roller-coaster ride with anyone. He loved to burn the bush and would anytime. Lonny enjoyed simple things in life but his greatest treasure was his family whom he loved deeply. He will truly be missed.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville. You may express condolences or share a memory of Lonzo at www.ballardandsons.com
