Lois Jean(Dolph)Granger Lewis, age 75, slipped away into eternal rest Wednesday September 12, at Liberty Village Rehabilitation Center in Muncie after an extended illness with Alzheimers.She was born in Danville, Illinois on September 7, 1937, and had lived in the Muncie area for several years.She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School in 1955 and attended Ivy Tech. She was President of the Muncie Fire Fighters Auxillary Local 1348,and was an Avon representive for 25 years. She was a member of the Avon Honor Society and Assistant Manager. She was a teachers aid at Sutton Elementary School in Muncie and was employed at K.J. Brown and retired as a secretary for Dan Hutcheson Insurance Company. She was a kind, loving and caring person,and will be greatly missed by the many friends and loved ones who had the privilege of sharing life with her.She is preceed in death by he mother and her late husband John Lewis, as well as her first husband, Phillip (Coach) Granger, her loving In-Laws Lois and Gene Granger, who took her in as a daughter, a brother Harold Dolph a Sister-in Law Pam Granger, two grandsons Jared Granger and Myles Swoboda.She leaves to cherish here memories two sons and two daughters: Jeff Granger (Companion SteveAnn), Bret Granger (wife Wendy); Daughters Suzi Persinger (husband Richard), and Jill Bridgman (husband Todd), six sisters:Teletha Hundley, Violet Squire, Dorothey Tinsley, Elizabeth Van Duyn, Loretta Krause, and LaVerne Bean, Special In-Laws Judy and Bart Hudson and Terry Granger, along with 11 grandchildren and 2 great grand children and several neices and nephews.Funeral services will be held at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, on Saturday at 12 noon with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie. Visitation will be from 10 till 12 on Saturday at the funeral home.Online Guestbook at:
