Daleville....Lloyd Sherman Barton, 93, resident of Daleville, passed away April 10, 2006 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.He was born in Hartford City, IN, September 28, 1912 the son of Hugh and Emma Lewis Barton.He retired in 1977 from Delco Remy and also had worked in accounting and payroll at Pepsi Cola in Muncie and A. E. Boyce , Corp.He was a 1930 graduate of Daleville High School, a member of the Daleville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite , Valley of Indianapolis, Daleville United Methodist Church and Daleville Order of the Eastern Star.He was an avid golfer.He was preceded in death by his wife: Goldie Gross Barton in 2005.He is survived by several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Karen Ottjes officiating.Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.Friends may call at the Daleville funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 PM with Masonic Memorial rites at 6:00 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Daleville United methodist Church or the Salem Township Fire department.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
