Middletown...Lisa Babette King, 5o, resident of Middletown, died early Sunday morning at her residence after an extended illness.She was born in Muncie, November 24, 1953, the daughter of Lelton E. and Barbara Bondy Rhodes.She had been employed at West Point Stevens (Liebhardt Mills) for over 12 years before taking a medical leave of absence.She grew up in Blountsville and New Castle before moving to Middletown.She was a member of the Middletown Chruch of the Nazarene and enjoyed her Bible Study group.Survivors include her husband of 30 years: Hubert, Jr., of Middletown, 1 daughter: Krista (Kyle) Hall of Middletown, Father: Lelton Rhodes of Jeffersonville, brother: Russell ""Rusty"" Rhodes (Kim) of New Castle, many uncles, aunts, cousins and nieces and nephews as well as many special friends.She was preceded in death by her mother, 1 sons: Hubert ""Hubie"" III, sister-in-law: Patricia Lowrey, mother-in-law: Doris Peavler, step-father-in-law: Clarence Peavler, father-in-law: Hubert King.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene Family Center, 698 North 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers, Rev. Kenneth Foust, and Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemtetery.Friends may call at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene Family Center, on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ballard and Sons Fuenral Home, Middletown.Memorials may be made to the Young Survival Coalition, 155 6th Ave., 10th floor, New York, NY 10013.
