Lisa Diane Kimmerling

Lisa Diane (Peavler) Kimmerling, age 58, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born on April 27, 1966, in Muncie, daughter of Larry and Janie (Faulkner) Peavler. Lisa lived her entire life in Middletown.

Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Shenandoah High School. She married the love of her life, Tony Kimmerling, on August 4, 1990. Lisa and Tony shared the most amazing and loving life together. Lisa was a sweet and caring mom, mamma, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Her smile would light up the room. Lisa enjoyed going shopping with her granddaughter.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Tony Kimmerling; daughter, Kyra (Chris) Polanco; sons, Bryant (Ashley) Kimmerling and Nathan (Emily) Kimmerling; grandchildren, Kylie, Myles, Zoe, Eli; sister, Pam (Greg) Poston; brother, Dale Peavler; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father and mother, Larry and Janie Peavler; paternal grandparents, Myron and Mary Peavler; maternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Faulkner; uncles, Keith Peavler, Jim Faulkner, Roger Faulkner, Gary Faulkner; aunt, Betty Clevenger; and her father and mother-in-law, Russell and Isabel Garrett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
