Yorktown....Linda S. (Davis) Reck, 64, resident of Yorktown, passed away November 11, 10`16 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.She was born May 22, 1952, the daughter of William J. Davis and Frances Waldron Davis.She was a Anderson High School graduate (1971) and worked as a dog groomer for Dr. Haggard and Dr. Bruce Chaille. She worked over 30 years at the Muncie Post Office as a rural carrier and raised many animals in her home.Survivors are her husband: David of Yorktown, children: David (Serena) Reck, Jennifer (Jim) Pittinger, Jesse (LeAnn) Reck, Velma (Kevin) Johnson and Brittany (Jeremy) Meadows, 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, brother: Ron (Sally) Davis, mother: Frances Davis, nephew: Chris (Ranae) Davis, and many other nieces and nephews.A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Church in Daleville. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.Friends may call at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, IN on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
