Linda Nightenhelser, 77 of Port Orange, FL passed away Thursday September 30, 2021. She was born on Sept. 29, 1944 to Leonard and Dorothy Wright of Middletown.
Linda graduated from Middletown High School. She worked at Wal-Mart and K- Mart for many years. She also worked for a factory producing automotive parts.
She loved animals dearly. She always enjoyed doing crossword or word find puzzles. Her favorite activity to do on her free time was to read.
She is survived by her significant other Don Shaffer and her four children, Mark Nightenhelser of Hudson, Indiana, Kim Nixon (Harold) of Hillman, Michigan, Stacey Riddle of Batesville Arkansas, and Brian Nightenhelser (Rhonda) of Tipton, Indiana. one brother Jerry (Faye) Wright, one sister Berneta Hall, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews, and many Cousins.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Dorothy Wright and her sister Phyliss.
Visitation will be October 7th, 2021 from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Services will be 2 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel, 118 S 5th St. Middletown, IN 47356. Burial will follow at Millers Cemetery.
