Linda Lea Jordan, 84, of Middletown passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1938 a daughter of the late Claude and Mary (Helsley) Hale.
Linda enjoyed watching her grandchildren in sporting events. She enjoyed golfing, loved watching college, high school and professional football and basketball. Linda loved March Madness and supporting the colts. She was very proud of her home. She enjoyed working in her yard and the sunshine. Linda often made suggestions of what she wanted done to anyone that was helping her.
She loved to spend time at her lake cottage with her parents, kids, and grandkids. Linda was very proud of her condo in Hilton Head, South Carolina in which she shared with her family.
In her spare time, she liked to play the piano, crochet, read books, do crosswords, put together puzzles, play scrabble, solitaire, and just spending time with her family. The Christmas holiday with her family was her favorite.
She is survived by her daughters, Joni Lea (David Lee) Dick of Middletown and Jamie Lynn (Charles “Butch”) Underwood of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Leslie (Billy) Sanders, Amy (Jerry) Simmons, Allison Telfer, Angie (Jeremy) Price; grandsons, Jordan (Kristi) Becker and Chad (Audra) Becker; great grandkids, Toby Sanders, Ty-David (Rosie) Sanders, Tate Sanders, Caleb Miller, Macy Miller, Nolan Dick, Emma Telfer, Kaiden Telfer, Lexy Price, Coy Price, Cayle Price, Cub Price, Emerson Becker, Collins Becker and Easton Becker; great great grandson, Levi Sanders; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Su Simpson and Nila Clapp.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Tolle; daughter, Jill Jordan; grandson, Adam J. Becker; great grandson, Chance Price; great granddaughter, Ashlyn Price.
Services will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 131 South 10th Street, Middletown, Indiana 47356. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
