Linda H. Hunt

Middletown...Linda H. Hunt, 69, resident of Middletown, died January 25, 2005 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.She was born June 26, 1935 in Lebanon, IN, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hodge.She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and attended Indiana University School of Music, and obtained a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degrees from Ball State University in Elementary Education.She had a passion for music and used the gift of her lovely soprano voice to serve as lead soprano in the High Street United Methodist Church Choir in Muncie for many years. As an elementary school teacher, she taught in Sutton School in Muncie and later at Shenandoah Middle School in Middletown.She was a member of Delta Delta Delta and Tri-Kappa sororities, a volunteer for the Red Cross and once was Muncie City Tennis Champion. Her love of nature and flowers brought her many years of enjoyment.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Ned Hodge.She is survived by her husband of 44 years: James G. Hunt of Middletown and 1 daughter and son-in-law: Mark and Sally Adams of Mechanicsburg, several nieces and nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Rev.
