Chesterfield...Lester H. Levell, 85, resident of Chesterfield, died October 16th at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born in Ripley County, Indiana to Edcar and Eva Levell on October 19, 1929. He served in the US Army from March 1951 to February 1953 in Germany.He married Ruth Parker on May 2, 1953. He was self employed owning Lester H. Levell and Sons Building and Remodeling and was a member of the American Legion and Westside Baptist Church of Muncie. He enjoyed Antiquing and travelling.He is survived by his wife: Ruth, his children; Rebecca (Sam) Jackson of Amboy, Gerald (Debi) of Lakeland, FL, Susan (George) McKinley of Ft. Wayne, Brenda (Dennis) Parkhurst of Anderson, Kevin (friend; Kathy) of Alexandria and Anita (Bob) Lilly of Elwood, grandchildren: David Jackson, Todd (Abby) Jackson, Chay Levell, Nathan Philpot, Aaron Levell, Jacob Bivens, Brandon Parkhurst, Charlotte Cloud, Clayton Levell, Lindsay Lilly, and Wyatt Lilly, three great grandsons, a brother Wendell and a sister Mary Reed.He was preceded in death by a son; Jay Level, his parents, his siblings; Wilberta Robins, Laurene Gray, Norman, Edward, Florence, and Byron.A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Larry Waters officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 am.A very special thank you to Dr. Eddy, Dr. Ong, the Cancer Unit at St. Vincent's and Westside Baptist Church in Muncie.Online Guestbook at:
