Middletown....Leslie (Les) Earl Reeves, Jr., 71, resident of Middletown passed away Monday at his residence.He was born in New Castle, Indiana, June 19, 1943, the son of Leslie and Agnes Bowman Reeves.He was a attended Sulphur Springs High School and retired from General Motors after 34 years of service.He served his country in the US Army and National Guard receiving the National Defense Service Metal, Sharpshooter and Expert Rifle classifications.He was a member of the National Street Rod Association for 30 years and was it's representative for Southern Indiana for the last 17 years.He loved working with cars and was an avid NASCAR fan.He loved working with horses in his early years and going camping with them in Brown County.He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Betty.Survivors include his wife :Gabi of Middletown, 1 daughter: Theresa Reeves ""Terri"" of Anderson, granddaughter: Crista Gilger of Anderson, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Mt.
