LeRoy D. Lennen, 69, of Daleville, Indiana, died Wednesday morning at Community Hospital in Anderson after sufferning from failing health for several years. His death was unexpected.He was born on May 11, 1935 in Fishersburg, Indiana and resided in Daleville most of his life. He served with the Marines in Korea and was discharged in 1954. LeRoy retired from Delco Remy, Plant 10, in 1987 after more than 30 years with General Moters. He was a member of the Daleville United Methodist Church.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn (Stephens); five sons, David and (wife Ramona) Lennen of Washington, Indiana; Stephen and (wife Sheila) Lennen of Kernsville, NC., Phillip of Arcadia, Indiana, Brian and (wife Kim) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; John and (wife Lisa Lennen) of Wixom, MI; and one daughter Lori and (husband Brent Kelly), of Gaston, Indiana. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was preceeded in death by his parents L. Porter and Anna Mae Lennen; his brothers, Charles, Bob, Keith, Gene; his sisters, Juanita, Kathleen, Freda, Naomi, Barbara and Virginia: and two grandchildren.Funeral Services will be at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, in Daleville, Indiana at 10 AM on Saturday, with the Rev. Richard True officiatng. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with visitation hours from 4pm until 8pm on Friday.Online Guestbook available at:
