Leonard Michael Sharp

Anderson...Len M. Sharp, 89, resident of Anderson, passed away Friday morning at St. Johns Medical Center after an extended illness.He was born in Lexington, KY, June 9, 1921, the son of Leonard and Virginia Stella Sharp.He was a WW 2 veteran serving in the Army Air Corps as a Tech Sergeant on a B24 from 1942-1945.He was a finance manager and salesperson in the automobile business in Arlington, TX.He attended Trinity Community Church in Daleville.Survivors include three sons: Michael Sharp (Kathy) of Frankton, James Sharp (Kay) of Ithica, NY, Leoanrd Martin Sharp of Elwood, and a daughter: Pat Dunham (Tim) of Pittsburgh, PA, two grandchildren: Timothy (Lisa and son, John) and Jennifer Sharp, beloveded great granddaughter: Tia Marie Sharp , all of Frankton.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Paul Pletcher officiating.Burial will follow at a later time at the Marion Veterans Cemetery in Marion, INFriends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com .
