Middletown....Leonard Walton Fattic, 95, resident of Middletown, passed away July 28, 2015 at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.He was born in Middletown, April 25, 1920, the son of Andrew and Levella Scothern Fattic.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and worked for over 30 years for the US Postal Service in Indianapolis as a supervisor.He was a WW 2 veteran/POW of the US Army and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Masonic Lodge and Pleasant Valley Christian Church.Survivors include his wife: Carolyn (Stum) of Middletown, children: Berneda Fadely (Terry, Sr.) of Middletown and Richard Fattic (Joann) of Indianapolis, 3 grandchildren: Terry Fadely, Jr. (Dawn), Richard Fattic and Chris Fadely (Michelle), 1 sister: Virginia Craig of Jacksonville, FL, 3 great grandchildren: Kyra Williams, Madison Fadely, and Marissa Fadely.He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastors Tim Warrum, Marty Ballard, and Richard Ruth officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 with Masonic Rites held at 8:00 PMMemorials may be made to the Middletown EMS, Box 1, Middletown, IN 47356Online Guestbook is available at:
