Lenora Faye (Weightman) Harter, age 82, a life long resident of Middleton, passed away on Saturday May 11,2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson.She was born on August 9, 1930 in Middletown, and was the daughter of William J. Weightman and Hassell Craig Weightman. She was employed at Delco Remy as a tool Crib Attendant, and retired in 2000 after 52 years of service. She was a 1948 graduate of Middletown High School. She was a 50 year member of the Middletown Order of the Eastern Star #110 and was Worthy Matron in 1980. She was also a member of the Knit Wits at Ball Stores in Muncie, the Middletown United Methodist Church, the Victorian Guild of St. John's and the UAW Local 662 of Anderson.She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Sarah J. Munden, a son in law James Parrish and a brother William Joseph ""Billy"" Weightman.Survivors include a son; James L. Harter (Dana) of Middletown, a daughter; Debra Sue (Harter) Parrish of New Castle. A sister Elnora M. (Witchie) Sutton of Bay City, Michigan. Four grandchildren; Megan Casey of Sugerties N.Y., Katherine Nelson (Anthony) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, James Jacob Harter of Middletown, and Candence Chassey-Marie Harter of Middletown. Three great grandchildren include Alex Bailey and Audri Casey of Murfreesboro Tennessee, and Starling Adams of Saugerties, New York. Special friends include Bill and Patsy Harter and Sara Fitch.Friends may call the funeral home from 4-8 on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, with burial in Miller Cemetery. Order of Eastern Star Service at 7P.M.
