Middletown....Lawrence Glenn ""Larry"" Conn, 66 of Middletown, passed away Thursday at St. Vincent's Regional Medical Center in Anderson.He was born in Middletown, October 26, 1946, the son of Lloyd and Dorothy Holler Conn.He was a graduate of Middletown High School 1964, recieved his BA from Anderson College and his MA in Optical Spetrocity and PHD through General Motors Guide Corporation.He was a lifetime member of the Middletown United Methodist Church and a member of the Daleville Gun Club, Henry County and Fall Creek Conservation Clubs and was an avid trap shooter.He taught at Lawrenceburg High School before beginning his career at Guide Lamp, retiring in 2004 from research and development.He was preceded in death by his father: Lloyd.Survivors are his wife of 41 years: Linda (Armitage) Conn of Middletown, daughter: Leanne Alford (Anthony) of Middletown, 2 grandchildren: Brandon Ellsworth and Jerry Dale Glenn Alford all of Middletown, mother: Dorothy Conn of Anderson, 1 sister: Diana Foust (Wayne) of Greencastle, 1 nephew: Warren (Farrah) Foust of Holland, MI and 1 niece: Whitney Gick (John) of Georgia, several great nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Revs. Glenn Davis and Bob Johnson officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in MIddletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent Hospice or the Monroe Twp.
