Larry Clifford Shields

Indianapolis....Larry Clifford Shields, 72, resident of Clearvista Lake Nursing Center and former resident of Anderson, passed away July 14 at the nursing center after a long illness.He was born in Madison County, December 30, 1944, the son of Homer and Viola Catherine Lawson Shields.He was graduate of Anderson High School (1964) and retired from General Motors in Anderson in 1994 after 30 years as an engineer.He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge and a US Army Veteran.Survivors are a son: Brian (Beth) of Pendleton and 1 daughter: Jennifer Shields of Marina Del Ray, CA, grandchildren: Sinead and Celia, 2 brothers: Ron (Sally) of Alexandria and Roy (Sandy) of Westfield.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Ernie.Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Paul Werling officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
