Larry Lee Sheddrick

July 28, 1941 — September 15, 2018

Middletown....Larry Lee Sheddrick, 77, resident of Middletown, passed away September 15, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital Anderson..  He was born in Andeson, July 28, 1941 the son of Paul and Jeanette Judge Sheddrick.  He was a 1960 graduate of Middletown High School and worked for Triple A Insurance before his retirements.

He was a US Air Force veteran, a member of the Middletown Fall Creek Historical Society, Middletown Masonic Lodge, Middletown Order of the Eastern Star, Middletown United Methodist church and was beloved as a foster grandparent. He was also an Eagle Scout and Scout leader for many years.

Survivors include his wife: Mardell (Yocom) of Middletown, 1 daughter: Misty Lynn (Ryan) Roberts, Georgetown, TX, 4 step children: John Adkins of New Hampshire, Lori Lee Bowyer  and Stephen Adkins of Middletown and Melissa Rhamey-Barker of Middletown, 19 grandchildren including a special on named: Trevor, several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren and brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Maynard Powell and officers of the Middletown Lodge F & AM #271 and the officers of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.

Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Thursday.
