Middletown...Larry Lamoine Riggs, 77, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday morning at his residence.He was born in Henry County, July 5, 1938, the son of Roscoe and Minnie Peckinpaugh Riggs.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired from the Town of Middletown after 23 years of service.He had also worked a Nicholson File.Survivors are his wife: Shirley of Middletown, 2 children: Tim Riggs of Anderson and Tammy Sears of Middletown, 2 brothers: Homer Riggs of Indianapolis and Gene Riggs (Barbara) f Middletown, 7 grandchildren and 14 1/2 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Terry Riggs.A Celebration of his life will be held at 8:00 PM Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard officiatingFriends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.Cremation will follow.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Larry with family and friends.Memorials may be made to the funeral home in honor of Larry for funeral expenses.
