Kenneth Pittsford

Middletown....Kenneth Pittsford, 82, Middletown, passed away Tuesday evening at IU Health/ Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.He was born in Anderson, April 2, 1930, the son of Glenn and Donna Smith Pittsford.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Martha Jane, and a brother: Keith Pittsford.He was a 1949 graduate of Anderson High School and retired from General Motors in 1995 after 33 years of service.He was a lifetime farmer and a member of the OES #110 of Middletown, Middletown Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis and the Murate Shrine.Survivors include seven children: Shirley Goodman of Anderson, Janet Marie Pittsford of Anderson, Bob Pittsford of Mustang, OK, Ronnie Pittsford of Daleville, Danette ""Dee"" Stewart (Steve) of Muncie and Janette Pittsford of Pendleton, and Tom Pittsford (Tana) of Daleville, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother: Gene Pittsford (Margaret) of Mechanicsburg, 1 sister: Marielle Beitman of Ft. Wayne.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, east of Middletown.Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home with Masonic rites at 8:00 PM.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Kenneth Pittsford with family and friends.
