Kenneth Junior Brown

Daleville...Kenneth Junior Brown, 81, a long time resident of Daleville, passed away May 26,2016 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on June14,1934 and was the son of Kenneth W. Brown and Delphia (Fern) Becktel. He retired from Delco Remy in 1993, after 40 years of service. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, flying model airplanes and ham radio. But his greatest enjoyment was his family, watching his grandchildren and greatest grandchildren run and play. He will be greatly missed by his family, but he will never be forgotten and will live on in their hearts forever. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Ester Frazee: two brothers Charles and Richard (Dick) and a great grandchild:Lauren. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Wanda L.(Page)Brown, a son; Randy (Christine) Brown, of Anderson; 2 daughters; Cheryl (Mike) Baker of Chesterfield and Peggy (Chris) Tower of Sulphur Springs. 2 Sisters; Marcella Faucett of Anderson, and Velma Musgrove of Muncie; 2 Brothers; Gayle (Nancy) Brown of Marion; and Larry (Liz) Brown of Portland. Also 7 Grandchildren; Ryan Brown (Sarah) of Loasantville, Phillip Baker of Cincinnati, Kelly (Jesse) Lucas of Middletown, Joshua Baker (Devan) of Muncie, Brittney Griffee (Levi) of Daleville, Brandon Tower (Jessica) of Middletown and Matthew Tower of Sulphur Springs. 12 Great Grandchildren also survive, along with nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street in Daleville on Tuesday, May 31 at 1 pm, with the Pastor Mark Freeman officiating. Visitation will from 11 until the time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery in Pennville.
