Middletown...Keith Eugene McSherley, 91, resident of Middletown, past away Sunday morning at Living petals healthcare in Sulphur Springs.He was born in Henry County, March 22, 1924, the son of Orville and Carrie Cannon McSherley.He retired from General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of service.He was a veteran of WW 2 Serving in the US Army Military Police.He was a member of the White Union Christian Church.He is survived by his wife: Lillian of Middletown, 2 sons: Ronald McSherley (Elsa) of Little Falls, N.J., and Lonnie McSherley (Addie) of Conover, NC, 1 daughter: Karen Turpin of Middletown, 10 grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild, 1 niece: Marlene McLin and 1 nephew: Don Higbee.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son: Dennis and 1 sister: Kathleen Miller.A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Gordon Barrett and Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call from 1-2 on Thursday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Middletown Food Pantry or the Jefferson Township Fire Department.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Keith with family and friends.
