Shirley...Kaytlyn Renay "KK" Hampton, 17, resident of rural Shirley, passed away Monday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Henry County, August 9, 2001. She was a sophomore at Shenandoah High School. She attended the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in New Castle and was a cheerleader. She also played softball, volleyball and Track.
She loved the powderpuff football games, was a member of FCA and recently began working at Marshalls.
She loved being with children and had a contagious smile. She loved boating and the Beach, hunting with her father and loved the story of Moses from the Bible.
Her favorite thing was to cheer for her sister Aleyna at her sports events.
Survivors are her Mother and step father: Chasity and Wes Jones of Shirley, father Tom Sharritts of Greenfield, 2 sisters: Aleyna Sharritts of Shirley and Violet Sharritts of Greenfield, 1 brother: Tyler Jones, grandparents: Tom and Terry Sharritts of Pendleton, David (Arlene) Kotkoff of New Castle, Kip (Vickie) Jones of Sulphur Springs, Rick and Cheryl Stigall, counsins, Uncles and Aunts: Josh and Jennifer Stigall, Patty and Bryant Taylor, Justin and Brittany Sharritts, Bradon and Brooke Sharritts, Ashley Stigall, Marlon and Kindsey Smith and Jeremy Jones, Great grandparents: Phyllis Mix of Phillipsburg, OH, Carol Stigall of New Castle and Donald and Genevieve Wolf of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Cadiz Christian Church in Cadiz with Pastor, Jeff Johnson, Charles Dugger, and Tony Piper officiating.
Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2-8.
