Kaylee Ann Barnes

December 23, 1998 — August 25, 2018

December 23rd, 1998 is a day this family will never forget. It's the day that we got the best person in the world, Kiki (Kaylee) Ann Barnes. From just a young age Kiki made her life goal to make people happy. She was just a child when she gained her love of care bears. She always had her green blanket (Aggie). You could catch her holding it while curled up on her Care Bear couch.

As she got older and blossomed into a teenager she found a passion for writing and learning to speak Japanese. Kiki started writing her published book Mozek: The Forbidden Knowledge at the age of 13.

Around this time she also started developing an eating disorder.

By the age of just 17 she was hospitalized for anorexia nervosa; a disease that almost took her life.

After a month in the hospital fighting for her life  she got to return to her home. The next 2 and a half years were spent recovering from the traumatic experience she went through.

In the last year of her life she accomplished things that many people only dream of.

She got her GED, license, and published her first book.

After publishing her first book the ideas started flowing and she then had 6 more books written.

Kiki had a passion for all forms of art. Novels, kid's books, poems, and drawing.

She has done so much in her short life.

Kiki found real true love with Noah Duffy who she spent every moment with that she could.

They enjoyed many walks in the park together, making pottery, and just being in each other's presence.

On August 25th, 2018  Kaylee passed away unexpectedly at her home.

Kiki lives on through her parents Angie Fields and Richard Barnes. Her sisters Danielle Fields and Alyssa Gauldin (Ronald). Her beloved fiance Noah Duffy. Her nephews Kayson and Kyzer Rummel Her  grandmas Linda Fields and Shirley Jablonka (Mark). Her Grandpa John Fields.

And also by Gerald Barnes (Judith)

Kiki was welcomed into heaven with open arms by her paternal and maternal great-grandparents.

Kiki would never hurt anyone even if they hurt her. She lit up everyone's life. She is the kind of person we all aspire to be.

Remember to smile at someone today, it might be the only kind act that they experience.

Kiki absolutely loved the color green. We would like to see everyone in something green and comfortable clothing.
