Middletown....Karen Jane (Antrobus) Kelley, 67, resident of Middletown, passed away early Sunday morning at her residence.She was born in Middletown, April 11, 1950, the daughter of Raymond and Barbara Watson Antrobus.She had worked at the Middletown Elementary School for many years and retired from Comcast. She coached softball for many years and received an education certificate from H and R Block which she used to do many family taxes.She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepson: Timothie Kelley. She is survived by her husband of 23 years: Donald W. Kelley and daughters: Shelly Kimmerling (Mark Ballenger) and Marcy Gaines (Andre) and one son: Kyle Haskell, a sister: Teresa Mason (Dale) and an Aunt: Ginny Wood.Grandchildren surviving are: Elizabeth (Nick) Schmidt, Aimee (Chance) Reagan, Felicia (Adam) Tapper, Emelia Nicholson, Cody Riggs, Andrew Haskell and Kylee Haskell, great grandchildren: Zoe Schmidt, Sawyer Reagan and another one on the way, Bonus grandchildren: Todd, Kyla, Josh and Jessica Ballenger, bonus great grandchildren: Reece, Emma and Anna Oakes, Niece: Lori (Michael) Medvig, nephew: Chris (Toyzanne) Mason, and several cousins.A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 south 5th, Middletown, with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comthe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Karen with family and friends.
