Middletown...June Margaret (Graham) Brooks, 87, resident of Middletown, passed away on Saturday at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after an extended illness.She was born in New Castle, September 26, 1923, the daughter of Paul H. and Martha Maxwell Graham.She had worked as a secretary for General Electric and for the Forum Credit Union as assistant to the President. She retired in 1993 and was a graduate of Tipton High School.She was a member of the Indianapolis Northpark Order of the Eastern Star and the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include her children: Jan (AJ) Hamilton of Middletown, Edward ""Carl"" (Dixie) Brooks of Coral Springs, FL., and Emerson ""Kent"" (Michelle) Brooks of Orlando, FL, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Betty (Rex) Boone and 1 brother: Robert (Opal) Graham and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Virginia Hawkins and 4 brothers: Paul, John, Everett and Art Graham, and a great grandson: Kahlil Hamilton Horne.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers officiating.Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Indianapolis.Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM.Memorials to Middletown Church of the Nazarene.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
