Middletown....Judith Ann (Maroska) Trennepohl, 75, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday evening at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother to many, and a daughter of God.She was born in Indianapolis, October 3, 1938, the daughter of Jesse D. Maroska and Iva Wilson Maroska Gale.She married Tom Trennepohl on October 20, 1956 and have been married for 57 years.She was a graduate of Hancock Central High School in 1956 and Anderson University, with a BS in Nursing in 1976.She served at Ball Memorial Hospital in Coronary Care retiring in 1999.She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church, Suburban Home EC Club, and was an honorary member of Psi Iota Xi. She was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau, Indiana State Nurses Association, taught piano and was a Bible Study teacher in B.S.F in New Castle.She was an avid gardener, a 10 gallon Blood Donor and was chairman of several blood drives. She had been church organist and pianist, worked the election polls, was active in the SHS Band Boosters as chairman of the uniform committee, and had been an active Bible School Teacher.She volunteered at nursing homes, was an avid runner and season ticketholder of Shenandoah and Delta Jr/Sr. High School sports.She organized the Fall Sports Banquet for SHS through the Methodist Church and hosted the annual breakfast for SHS boys Basketball and Girls Volleyball in her home for many years.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Andy Maroska and Eddie Maroska and a sister: Mabel Crane.Survivors are her husband: Tom of Middletown, sons: Jeff (Karen) of Middletown, Tim (Hether) of Chesterfield, Scott (Judy) of Middletown and Chris (Keela Retallick) of Mandan, ND, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren a sister, Jessie Scott and sister-in-law: Susie Maroska.A Celebration of Judy's life will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Middletown United Methodist Church.Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-9 at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown and from 11:30 until the time of the services on Thursday at the church.Memorials to: The Henry County Community Fund c/o Judy Trennepohl Nursing Scholarship, The Indiana Ovarian Cancer Walk in September (The family has a page on the site for Judy, or you may donate blood at in her honor at any local Blood Bank.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandson.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Judy Trennepohl with family and friends.
