Juanita Hofer

In the passing of Juanita we witness the unfolding of a chapter in the book of life. Her journey on this earthly plane has come to a close, and we reflect upon the tapestry of moments woven throughout her years. Like a seed planted in fertile soil, Juanita grew and flourished, leaving an indelible mark upon the hearts of those who knew them. From her life as a child on the family farm during the Great Depression to the long hours of factory work to support her family, her vigor and humor sustained all who met her.

Juanita’s unwavering devotion to family and community, exemplified through acts of kindness and compassion. Her laughter offered a lightness and sense that after all we’d be ok. As a pillar of strength, she carried burdens with the resilience of Job, enduring trials with steadfast faith.

Though Juanita has now departed from our midst, her legacy lives on in the echoes of laughter, the bonds of friendship, and the love that weaves us together. Let us remember her with gratitude and honor, for her chapter in the grand narrative of life has left an indelible impression.

May Juanita s spirit find rest in the embrace of eternity, as they journey onward to a realm beyond mortal sight. As we gather to pay our respects, let us find solace in the promise that, just as the sun sets and rises anew, so too shall Juanita’s memory endure, a testament to a life well-lived, and a soul now returned to the Creator’s embrace.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, IN with Pastor Glenn Perkins officiating. Burial to follow at Huntsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
