Joyce Leanne Barber

Yorktown...Joyce L. Barber, 74, resident of The Waters in Yorktown, died at nursing home on July 23, 2006.She was born in Daleville, March 23, 1932, the daughter of James Byron and Vita Orebaugh Hartzell.She was a 1950 graduate of Daleville High School and retired from the Insurance department of Ball Memorial Hospital.She was a lifelong resident of the Muncie and Anderson area.She was a member of the ABWA of Daleville and the extension Homemaker Club.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Charles.Survivors include a son: David Barber, 2 sisters: Marygayle Hartzell of West LaFayette and Kris (John) Katzmarek of Daleville, 1 brother: Harold (Colleen) Hartzell of Yorktown, 1 grandchild and nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:30 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville.Burial will follow in Saunders cemetery.Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J.
