John Lyman Tucker

John Lyman Tucker, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Community Hospital of Anderson. He was born September 13, 1946 in Anderson, IN, a son of the late Arnold and Lydia (Patterson) Tucker.
John was a 1964 graduate from Highland High School. He is a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. John worked in various sales positions before retiring in 2013. He attended the Ovid Community Church in Anderson, Indiana. He enjoyed watching John Wayne western movies, the news and working on cars.
John is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Christopher (Amanda) Tucker; granddaughters, Bridgette and Vivian Tucker of Alexandria, IN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Cary Tucker Jr., Anson Tucker, James Tucker and Thomas Tucker; sisters, Annabell Kimmerling and Imogene Neff.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Research Foundation at 14350 Mundy Drive, Suite 800#181, Noblesville, IN 46060. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
