Middletown...John Conrad Pugsley, 87, longtime resident of Middletown passed away August 12, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown. He was born September 14, 1933, the son of Riley Pugsley and Pearl Joos Smith
He attended Middletown High School and was a union carpenter most of his life.
He was a veteran of the the U.S. Marine Corps.
He enjoyed woodworking and was a Boy Scout Leader. He was a member of the Middletown Conservation Club.
Survivors are two sons: Jay Pugsley (Erka) of Muncie and John Pugsley of West Hollywood, CA. 3 grandchildren; Andrew Pugsley, Madriane Klein and Cory Brown Pugsley, brothers, Danny Pugsley and Larry Smith (Patty), sister Diane (Don) Mosier several nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
Military services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday August 16, 2021 at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
Friends may call from 5-7 on Monday.
