Daleville...John Edward Orr, 60, resident of Daleville, passed away Monday evening at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson. He was born January 25, 1951 in Anderson, the son of Fred W. and Ora C. Gibson Orr, Sr.He was a 1970 graduate of Daleville High School.He had worked for the Utility Department of the Town of Middleotwn for 20 years, Alliance Electirc in Cincinnati, and Norfleet Enterprises.He was a member of the SAL Post 446 of Daleville, Veterans of Madison County and was an avid deer and turkey hunter.He had volunteered on the Middletown Fire Department for 10 years.Survivors are two daughters: Amanda (Todd) Bangle of Middletown and Holly Bricker (Victor Perez) of Anderson, grandchildren: Kristina Bricker, Devon Bricker, Dylon Bricker, Haily Pugsley and Hanna Pugsley, 1 brother: James Orr of Daleville, 1 sister-in-law: Connie Orr of Middletown, several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Ann, brother: Fred, and son-in-law: Brian Bricker.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 4-8 PM.The family has requested casual dress for visitation and services.Online Guestbook at: ballardandsons.com
