Anderson...John William Murdock, 86, lifetime resident of Madison County, died Wednesday at Meadowbrooke Rehabilitation Centre and Suites in Anderson.He was born in Anderson, November 10, 1919 the son of Daniel and Lilly Catherine Stephenson Murdock.He attended Anderson Schools and retired from Guide Lamp in Anderson after 45 years of service.He was a member of the UAW 663 of Anderson.Survivors include his wife: Vivian of Anderson, son: Steve Murdock of Anderson, 1 brother: Ore (Dingle) Murdock of Anderson, sisters: Midge Rapier, Dean Trice and Tootie Hall of Anderson and Florence Corn of Daleville, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Nancy Murdock and Julie Winningham.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
