Anderson....John Paul Laswell II, 85, resident of Anderson, passed away at the home of his daughter in Middletown on July 23, 2019. He was born in Anderson, May 20, 1934, the son of John Paul and Elzora June Rittenour Brown.
He attended Anderson High School and worked for over 32 years in the Heat treatment plant of General Motors Plant 17.
He owned and operated Laswell Antiques in Anderson was on a bowling team for 50 years. He delivered the Anderson Herald bulletin for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Ardella Stratton Laswell, and a son: John Paul Laswell III.
Survivors are one daughter: Martha (Marti) Laswell of Middletown, 1 sister: Sue Weatherford of Cicero, 4 grandchildren: John Paul Laswell IV, Ryan Laswell, Kyle Laswell and Michael Laswell.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Saunders Cemetery, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.
