Daleville...John Llewelyn Huffman, 83, resident of Daleville, died Monday morning at Bethany Point Healthcare in Anderson after a brief illness.He was born in Daleville, June 24, 1920, the son of Merriel and Viola McKinsey Huffman.He spent 41 1/2 years in the tool room at Delco Remy and farmed his grandfathers farm, first with horses and then with a tractor. He loved talking about the early history of the Daleville area.Survivors include his wife of 26 years: Helen (Crossley) of Daleville, 2 sons: R. David (Karen) Huffman of Greenfield, IN, and Larry C. Revis (Judy) of Downey, CA, 1 daughter: Indy ""Boni"" Quillen (Mike) of San Diego, CA, grandchildren: Candi Jo (Trent) Dicken of Greenfield, Scott (Ana) Helms of Carlsbad, CA., And Andrew Helms also of Carlsbad, CA, Lyndsi, Michael and Ashly Revis of Downey, CA, Greatgrandchildren: Jordan and Logan Dicken of Greenfield, Sisters: Ruby (Jim) Gaddis of Daleville, Roberta Vermillion of Daleville, 1 brother: Robert (Patricia) Huffman of Daleville, nieces and nephews and his ""Lunch Bunch"" friends from the class of 1938.Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 at the Mt. Pleasant Church in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Gary McManus officiating.
