He was a US Air Force Veteran of WW 2.Survivors are his wife of 54 years: Lois Kennedy, (Formally of Rushville) children: Blinda (Peter) Bragginton, Simi Valley, Sandra (Steven) Trueblood of Sangar, CA, Marsha (Ed) Smith of Eiva Beach, HI, Mark (Julie) Elrod of Federal Way, WA, Scott Elrod of Los Angeles, Michael (Wendy) Elrod of Oakhurst, CA, sisters: Jo-Ann (Al) Weber of San Diego, CA, and Jeaninie Wilson of Claremont, CA, Aunt: Dorothea Ballard of Middletown, Cousins: Jon Ballard of Daleville, Marty Ballard of Middletown, Gary Rhondes of Cicero, IN and Lou Anna VanZant of New Castle.
