Joan (King) Fleming

Middletown...Joan King Fleming, 81, resident of Middletown, passed away at her residence on February 8, 2017.She was born in Bethpage, TN, March 1, 1935, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Curuthers King.She had been a volunteer at St. Vincent's Hospital in Anderson for many hears and a homemaker.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and lived in the Middletown area since 1987.She was preceded in death by her husband: Billie Frank Fleming in 2008Surviving are three children: Steve Douglas (Debbie) Fleming of Lafayette, Donald Fleming of Anderson and Vicki Yorio of Cincinnati, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Shirley Marschre of Naples, Fl and several nieces and nephews.Special thanks to the George Lowrey family.A Public graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Online Guestbook at www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Joan with family and friends.Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent's Hospice.
