Middletown...Joan Thompson Fear, 84, resident of Middletown and formally of Marion, passed away October 28, 2010 at St. Johns Medical Center.She was born in Marion, May 13, 1926, the daughter of Albert H. and Nora E. Funk Thompson.She had been a nurses aid at the Veterans Hospital in Marion and was a graduate of Marion High School.She had attended the Marion EUB church.Survivors are one sister: Betty Fisher of Anderson and nieces and nephews.The family has planned private services.Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
