Daleville...Jerry E. Sargent, 31, resident of Daleville, passed away Tuesday in Chattanooga, TN.He was born in Anderson, October 25, 1977, the son of Stephen and Mary Chafin Sargent.He attended Daleville High School and had worked at Menards and Sargents Construction.He moved to Tennessee last August and was a member of the Daleville Gun Club.Survivors include his parents, his fiance: Stephanie Orr of Tennessee, brother: Jason E. Sargent of Daleville (Peggy Duke) several nieces and nephews, also his paternal grandfather: Elbert Sargent, Maternal Grandparents: Alberta and Clarence Chafin, and a cousin: Mitchell Edwards.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St. Daleville with Rev.
