Jerry Wayne Richardson
September 12, 1944 — February 1, 2024
On Thursday, February 1, 2024, Jerry Wayne Richardson, 79, went home to be with the Lord. He was born September 12,1944 and was married to his high school sweetheart, Virginia Murphy, who survives, for nearly 62 years. They resided in Unionville, IN for over 50 years, then traveled the country in an RV until 2019 when they settled in Daleville, IN.
As a teenager, he trusted Christ as his Savior and continued to serve Him until his death.
His parents, Hank and Edith Richardson, preceded him in death.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two wonderful children, Jane (Mitch) Fiscus and Dan (Teresa) Richardson; five sisters and one brother, Barbara (Larry) Wall, Donna Zink, Janice Lyons, Linda Bruce, Denise (Gene) Frazier and Jeff Richardson; four grandchildren, Seth (Trina) Richardson, Luke (Jenna) Richardson, Nicole Fiscus, and Macy Fiscus; and five great grandchildren.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love His appearing.”

At the request of the family there will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, IN.
