Middletown...Jeffrey Gilbert Campbell, 51, former resident of Middletown, passed away with his daughters at his side. He was born in Anderson, IN March 6, 1962, the son of Jack and Nancy (McAshland) Campbell.He grew up in Middletown where he raised his family. He graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1980 and attended Anderson Apprentice School.He had worked for Guide Lamp in Anderson for several years.In 2001, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he worked for General Motors. After several trips back to Indiana and a a two year relocation in Kansas City, KS, Jeff settled in Troy, Missouri in 2013. He had just purchased a small horse farm in Troy and was excited with his new position with General Motors as a shift leader.Jeff was an extremely hardworking man. He was a great craftsman with the ability to build or fix about anything. He loved being outside. Whether it was riding his Harley, gardening, being at the beach, or taking grandchildren to Disney World, he was happy. He enjoyed seeing his family and friends happy and would always offer a helping hand to all that needed it. He was a proud member of the Middletown Lodge F & AM #271 and the Middletown OES #110.He is survived by his daughters: Jessica (Dustin) Armstrong of Middletown and Haley (Josh) Anderson of Middletown, his parents: Jack and Nancy Campbell of Middletown, sister: Jill (Danny) Pugsley of Middletown and a brother: Teddy (Brenda) Campbell of Connersville, and his beloved grandchildren: Carter and Natalie Armstrong and Rylee Anderson all of Middletown, several nieces and nephews.Celebration services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, east of Middletown.Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM with Masonic services held at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Simon Cancer Center through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at:
