Daleville...Jeffery Lee Shore, 61, resident of Daleville passed away Sunday morning at IU Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born August 9, 1955 in Muncie, the son of William and Joann E. Dragoo Shore.He was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and has worked for Maxon Corporation (Honeywell) as a buyer for over 39 years.He was a member of the Fall Creek Valley Conservation Club where he taught gun safety, and orientation and was a member of it's board of education.He attended Dialogue Church in Muncie and was an longtime member of the Republican party as well as a graduate of Ball State University with a BA in Business.He began his 5th term as a member of the Daleville Town Board and had lived in Daleville for over 27 years.Survivors are his wife of 28 years: Lee Anne Zimmerman Shore of Daleville, 1 daughter: Lauren Shore (Justin Smith) of Daleville, 1 sister: Judith Croswell (Leslie) of Nellysford, VA, 1 cousin: Barbara Gillian of Muncie.He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 cousin.Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Ryan Schaefer officiating.Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Fall Creek Valley Conservation Club or the Daleville Salem Township Volunteer fire and EMS.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Jeff with family and friends.
