Anderson...Jeanette O. (Tutterow) Day, 101, longtime resident of Middletown, passed away Monday at Monticello House in Anderson. She was born in New Castle, Indiana, October 1, 1915, the daughter of Logan and Ada Good Tutterow. She was a graduate of Middletown High School.She had lived her entire life in the Middletown area and was a 60 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked in the United Methodist Church and assisted her husband in the Methodist Men organization as well as the Middletown Lions Club.She was a member of the Psi Iota Xi sorority, the Middletown Chamber of Commerce, and was part owner of the Middletown Oiler Semi Pro Baseball team.She and her husband operated the Day's Standard Oil and Bulk plant for many years.She was preceded in death by her husband: L. B. (Les) Day, brother: Lawrence Tutterow and sisters: Mary Webb and Sarah Sayford as well as a grandson: Tony Day.Survivors are 1 daughter: Deanna Jessop (Daniel H. Jr.) of Arcadia, IN, 3 sons: Norm and Larry (Jeanne) Day of Middletown and Darrell (Judy) Day of Hamlet, NC. 6 grandchildren: Sharlene Day Faulk, DeWayne Day, Christine Oxendine, Justin Day, Troy Jessop, and Lisa Ashby, 15 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, 1 brother: Don Tutterow of Middletown.A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 4:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call after 3 PM on Friday until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the Downs Syndrome of Indiana;
