Jeanette Alma Bowman

Muncie...Jeanette Alma Bowman, 100, resident of the Springport area, passed away Wednesday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, March 17, 1905, the daughter of Walter and Demmie Stiles Bunner.They moved to Luray, Indiana when she was 2 years old. She attended school at Springport and graduated from Mt. Summit High School.She was married August 21, 1926 to Claude Leslie Bowman who passed away on May 26, 1962. She had been a member of the Springport Christian Church since 1916.Survivors include one nephew: Carl Gene Everett (Lois) and one niece: Marjorie Everett Waldrath (Verl), two great nieces: Lynn Conwell (Kevin) and Beth Everett, two great nephews: Larry Waldrath and Duane Huffman. Also cousins: Mendal Bunner, Gilbert Bunner, Harry Richard Deavers, Jeanette Owens and Wilma McClean.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Springport Christian Church with Rev. David Siebenaler and Rev.
