Fishers....Jean F. Wisehart, 86, resident of Fishers and longtime resident of Middletown, passed away April 1, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Fishers. She was born in Monrovia, Indiana, May 9, 1931, the daughter of Paul and Edna Spanneth Shuler.
She was a graduate of Monrovia High School and received Masters Degrees in education as well as a Divinity. She was also a Registered Nurse,
She taught school in Middletown before working as a registered nurse at Riley Hospital for Children.
She had been active in the Middletown United Methodist Church, Sixth Street Christian Church and the Chesterfield Christian Church. She was well travelled with her husband Bob. She belonged to the Athena Circle, Redhatters, Middletown Fall Creek Historical Society and taught Sunday School for many years..
She was Morgan County's first 4/H Queen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert F, a son, Steven, as well as three brothers: Donald, Jim and Paul Robert.
Survivors include sons: John (Lisa) Wisehart and Francis A. Wisehart (Hanna Kim) and a daughter: Mary Wisehart Phillips, grandchildren: Steven Wisehart , Christopher (Keilani) Wisehart, Emily Wisehart (Zach Powers) Jessica Talley, Morgan Wisehart, Lauren Wisehart, Joel Wisehart Phillips, Rachel Wisehart Phillips and great grandchildren Matthew and Aubrey Wisehart.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Satruday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM with nursing honors at 7:45 pm.
