Middletown....Jean Sanders, 88, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.She was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas October 1, 1924, the daughter of Robert and Eva Adams Smith.She was a member of White Union Church, participated in Ladies Aide, Democratic Club and Ladies Democratic Club.She served 45 years with Avon, and was known as the ""Avon Lady"" to most people. She worked at Guide Lamp and retired from Delco Remy.She relocated from Anderson Indiana when she was 6 years old. She lived in Madison County and Henry County for most of her life.She was preceded in death by Joe Sanders Jr. (Husband), George Sauders (Son), Lisa Sanders (Daughter), Jeremy Lane Sanders (Grandson), Heather Sanders (Granddaughter in-law)Survivors include: Melinda Kay Painter (Irving Key), Nancy Sanders (Honey Creek), Melanie Douglass (Muncie) Husband Scott Douglass, Joe David Sanders (Honey Creek) and wife Debbie Sanders, 10 grandchildrfen, 18 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-law: Bob and Vera Sanders, and sister-in-law: Linda SandersGraveside services will be held at Miller Cemetery at 2 P.M.
